Description

As a Harvester bar and serving staff, you are the personality behind the beer machines, the drinks menu expert and know our menu inside out and regularly recommend your favourites. As a friendly face that will be remembered by our guests, you give our guests your personality in every moment, so they keep coming back.

Responsibilities:

-Welcome, serve and look after our guests

- Adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

- Work with the team to create a friendly atmosphere that our guests will love

- Know the menus inside out and make recommendations to our guests

-Be an advocate for brand standards

You don't even need experience. As long as you can convey a warm and helpful manner to everyone you meet, we can teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our busy teams.

By accepting a full-time apprentice bar and waiter position under the supervision of our passionate teams, you will not only receive training as a Level 2 Hospitality Professional, but you will also be able to help run our businesses and create great moments!

What your education entails

-A mixture of face-to-face and Skype/phone calls every 4-6 week

-A mix of on- and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars

- Meetings every 12 weeks with the intern, supervisor and life coach

-Feedback sessions to discuss progress

- Gain functional skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have a GCSE or equivalent)

- 30 hours of paid work per week

The salary is:

16-20 years - £7.49 per hour

21-22 years - £10.18 per hour

23+ years – £10.42 per hour

At Mitchells and Butlers you will work towards a Level 2 training standard for hospitality team members over 15 months.
